I’m not seeing it put back into infrastructure or schools….and just who follows that money and why isn’t there a public report sent to all citizens as to where that money is going.

How do you you steal thousands of dollars? Start talking about hundreds of thousands. How do you steal millions and millions? Start talking about billions and trillions…and the smaller amount disappears being considered pocket change…it becomes irrelevant.

But Joe citizen can count on his bank monitoring every every single penny coming to them.

Most state's lotto $$$ goes into the general revenue fund. Some states might have a law making it mandatory for lotto $$ to go to schools but I imagine that even in such states they just lower the amt. of general revenue equally so its not like the schools get "extra" $$ from lotto.

I would think that one could find where the money goes w/o needing a report sent to them, like all $$$ stuff. It takes some effort is all.

I think its an idiot tax myself.

The more money they pour into the schools the worse they get.

Im proud to say iv never purchased a lottery ticket in my entire life.I think it has something to do with being good at math. Iv known people who have purchased thousands of tickets and not one ever hit for more than a token amount. I think they send way more people to the poorhouse than they ever make rich. Also visited a few casinos over the years in the past but i dont think iv ever lost any more cash than they give you to get you there. For entertainment purposes only.
