Not a train derailment .... only 400,000 gal of radioactive stuff in Minn. leaked. Just learning about the November 2022 leak this week.

I did some quick math. 400,000 gallons would slightly overfill a hole 12.5 yards long, wide, and tall. Even with the leak theres a bill trying to allow the building of nuclear plants in the state again. We have 2 at this time. All this mess just so people can charge their cars and be green. Makes me want to drive my Bronco again.

Ethanol spill the way it reads. That should make a quick hot fire if they can keep the locals from trying to bottle it up for medicinal purposes! 8-)

Derailments aren't that uncommon. The local stretch of track near here has had a few in years past. A crew of Conrail workers kept their section in shape during the day and kept the local bars busy during the night. A hard working, hard drinking bunch. Ties rot out. Some are kept in use longer than they should.
