If you cant tell the difference by now you never will CH  This isnt in the USA.

Grumpy, Do you mean in Russia or Ukraine?
There is forced automatic draft registration in the USA for MEN.

I saw an article with young girls getting conscripted in Ukraine. They didn't look very happy.

Its probably just registration. But I hadnt read about that yet. Interesting. But if everyone wants equal rights thats one way of doing that.

Do you even read what you post, much less what others post ? I posted this a few pages back when you posted about a pending law to make it automatic.

https://www.sss.gov/

There is no "forced automatic draft registration" in the US. There is just a law requiring Selective Service registration - nothing forced automatic about it. And it's been around for decades. Plus, how many do you know that have not registered were arrested ? None, so no need for the Chicken Little act.

Try more reading comprehension and less US hating spin. ;)

For now. If the tide turned to help himself another way he would be the 1st one against more money. I dont mind when someone is for or against something or even if they change their minds once in a while but constant flip flopping gets old. John Kerry could possibly win the trophy for it but there may be others worse Im not thinking of.

Except for 1975 to 1980, we've had a law that when guys turn 18, they have to sign up for the draft since 1948. So, if now it becomes an automatic sign up that's something we should worry about ? Either way the18-year-olds get signed up, so becoming "automatic" is not a difference that we need to worry about.

It looks unlikely to pass the senate, this session anyway. Saved by transenders! LOL

"The NDAA passed the House in a 217 to 199 vote, but it’s unlikely to be taken up by the Senate.

Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., blasted the bill on Friday afternoon over the inclusion of amendments curbing funding for abortion, transgender medical care, and diversity efforts.

"Unsurprisingly, the legislation coming out of the House today is loaded with anti-LGBTQ, anti-choice, anti-environment, and other divisive amendments guaranteed not to pass the Senate," Schumer said. "As we move forward with this year’s NDAA process, both sides will have to work together to pass bipartisan legislation that honors and respects all who serve in defense of our nation."

Interesting, since China was not one of the few UN countries that voted in support of Russia. Seems they want to play their usual game of both sides for China.
