"Surely, Defendants had—or should have had—the
historical materials and analyses the State relied upon when it began its legislative
response to Bruen. After all, the Supreme Court was clear that in order for any gun
control legislation to pass constitutional muster under the Second Amendment, such
legislation must be consistent with historical tradition."

Finally, a judge that says that lawmakers should look first to see if they can pass gun control laws prior to passing them.

The NJ law is on life support...they will not win their case and have their gun control provisions passing muster..the worst of which (that other states have said that they will pass) include:
1) prohibiting spaces to carry in all private places with the exception of those private land owners saying that you can carry
2) demanding insurance to own / carry a gun (liberals got this idea from Japan from what I could see)
3) that the gov't can pass gun control laws without considering citizens' rights
4) that the gov't should have more time to address lawsuits to seek out evidence to present to court
5) carry in vehicles is OK - no need to have them broken down or ammo stored differently

A few seconds later....Illinois, because a liberal shot up some people, wants to ban all the guns.
