I don't read my emails until late evening and this night being birthday eve of my 65th birthday I thought I'd share a surprise birthday wish I got tonight from my late Dad. Long story short, my Dad passed in 2010. The previous year 2009 and now deceased, my Aunt visited us and she loves taking pictures. Well in 2012 she was going back through her photos and came upon a picture she took of my Dad sitting in his favorite chair. Draped on the chair was a throw blanket with bells designed in it. Well, when my Aunt looked at the pictures in 2012 she was stunned. My Dad's picture presented but the image bells now had the image of wings.

My email is sent "On This Day Memories" daily by Microsoft Onedrive where I backup all my work and personal files.

The image below is a snap shot of my PC backed up some particular day in 2012 as I was working on a research project that required weather data. Onedrive has a habit of selecting "random" images of pictures and sending them to me. So, on the eve of my Birthday, it seems my Dad found a way to send a warm memorable Birthday wish. He was a guy full of "surprises" and I loved him greatly as we worked closely together in his businesses. Someday I'll write about what he did to me and my family on day of his funeral - my family still laughs about the caper he pulled off because it was so "him."

Never fear, there is life after death! Below is the image I received tonight - I kid you not!

Beautiful!!! They are still with us, we just have to look for the signs. Shortly after my mother passed my youngest daughter was pointing into our backyard from our patio door asking why Grandma was standing in our backyard. Still warms my heart knowing she is looking after us.

That is GREAT! What is sad about today's world is a lot of people would miss that subtle "hint" in the pic of your dad there.

Happy Birthday!

Happy Birthday!

I have been told that when a person walks past a store they might get coupons or solicitation from the store. The high tech society we live in knows just about everything about us. It might be that high tech knows this was your dad and knows it is your birthday and knows your dad is deceased...
I don't know but maybe big tech is behind this.

But did high tech move the bell shapes to appear as wings on his dad's shoulders?

I wouldn't say it is outside the realm of possibility.

No disrespect intended, but I disagree.

Are you thinking super natural or miracle type happening?

I don't buy into the supernatural. And I wouldn't call it a miracle. Things happen that have no reason to happen. I'd go with divine intervention. That one works for me.
