To all those serving & have served the Best Country in the world!!! My thanx & gratitude go out to you all. We had a much better turn out then the last few years. Some younger Vets showed up--this is a good thing. :)

May God bless all the men and women who have served and are protecting us today. Thank You! I have a major disappointment in how Americans do not take this holiday more serious. I never served but have had numerous family members who have. I always think of what they went through, especially my grandpap who was a navy medic who never spoke of the carnage he saw except for one thing he mentioned. I also think of my great grandmother who was a gold star mother with for of her sons serving. I had one uncle who was a prisoner of war that did make it home to live to 95. We all should never forget the sacrifices our military members gave to us.

And if you're a vet in a rough spot, please reach out to anyone here. I think you'd be hard pressed to find any of us coal huggers who would not spend some time to talk to those in need.
