Good morning HB and everyone else , thanks for the much welcomed coffee. What a beautiful morning sitting by a fire in the rain but like always the weather men (oh weather person ) sorry just trying to be PCare wrong again.
I did manage to fined firewood for the winter camping season at a reasonable price and I still need some coal but now i will pay for my lack of preparedness with a high price
Have a great weekend people and stay safe.
Not much going this weekend just had one of my batteries take a *censored* in the truck yesterday so that ended up being a campground repair, kinda disappointed in the motorcraft batteries in this truck my last set lasted a 10 years but it may have been just a bad one the other was still good.I did manage to fined firewood for the winter camping season at a reasonable price and I still need some coal but now i will pay for my lack of preparedness with a high price

Morning All!
Thanks for the hot coffee HB!
The remnants of Hurricane Ian blew cool wet weather at us last weekend. Then later in the week it blew cool dry air at us and that brings us to the conclusion of Air Conditioning season down here. YAY!
Not much going on here this weekend. Probably work on the car a little, mow a little and I have some work to do to the Axmen. The Van Wert in the basement is currently on water heater duty. That actually warms the basement enough to keep the rest of the house warm in this weather.
Have a good weekend everyone!

Cold but nice day here. One heck of a crop of beans and corn here. I can tell by how many trucks go by and how often the combines are waiting for wagons or semi's. I guess this is one of the better places in the country this year for crops.
No wood splitting this weekend. Today I have a little metal work I want to do on my wood stove that used to be retired until the coal price increase. Have a great weekend everyone!
