Good morning everyone. Yesterday I pointed the truck East and drove to Jay Peak, VT. It is 10 degrees cooler here and I have yet to see any bugs. Two hockey games today and a team cookout tonight. I will check back in tomorrow to see if Fred has shared the final chapter of the well story.

Thanks HB👍, just sitting here enjoying a nice cool morning here in the Southern part of the Finger Lakes region of NY. One more day here then we’re off to Letchworth SP, can’t wait to do some hiking, sightseeing, and what ever else we can find.
Weather has been fantastic so no complaints here😎.
Have a great weekend friends🍻

Plenty of rain here the last 2 weeks. Just my location it seems and others in this area are dry. Skeeters so bad I can barely step out the door and too warm for a bug suit so its a DEET day. Nothing like a DEET flavored muffin for breakfast!

No major plans today. Glad the water is running Fred. Forward we go!

Did you figure out what went wrong?

My neighbor had a foot valve go bad and no one knew where the well was. They dug it up and discovered a hole bored into the limestone. It was an odd size, they figured the dynamite drilling rig at the local quarry drilled it. They ended up making a casing for it and putting submersible in.

I’ve been wanting to post this for a while already. We were camping out in Holmes county Ohio the week of June 13-19 there was a rally of 300 of our teardrop campers made in Sugarcreek Ohio. We arrived about 6pm the 13th and storms came through at midnight and 4am the 14th. We got into the suburban and drove to an open area. The trees were down in the midnight storm, don’t know if they came down while we were in the camper or after we left. We were slow to leave. The 5th wheel next to us was lifted off it’s mounting pin. Another 5th wheel had their blocks removed from under their outriggers.

Photos were from the next day. Trees came down about 10 yards away. When we left Friday to go to Dragway 42 at noon, we still didn’t have electric.
