Good morning. Yesterday I got a good reminder why I live where I do. 20 miles at 25 mph is not fun. Ivan and I are near Boston for a hockey tournament. I think these people feed their kids 100 dollar bills.

No more coal burning for me until the weather cools. I shut the boiler off right before I walked out the door yesterday.

Thanks again HB👍 We’re eating homemade banana chocolate chip granola bars😁 needed something to do with some old bananas left over from the party last Saturday.
The party was good no problems except we ordered way to much food as always🤨 just ended up freezing what we didn’t give away, Today we have two more graduation partys to attend and two more at the end of July  so now its back to camping, next weekend its off to Maumee SP for the 4th and in two weeks we’re off to Watkins Glen NY for 4 days 🍷, from there we have a 3 day stop at Letchworth SP which we are looking forward to.
Have a great weekend friends snd enjoy.

Ahhh, the weekend is here. Had a long week and ready to slow it back down with some R&R for the day. It's "outage" season in the gas patch. We have annual safety device outages for all our assets and some may go from 7 am to 11pm and that doesn't cover the 1.5hr drive to some. Had 2 outages this week to test and man I'm still shaking the hangover feeling. Good mess of eggs and bacon will surely help. Have a good weekend fellas. Here is some eye candy ....

Morning all!

Nice look'in coal there Anthony!

It's eggs, toast and coffee here today. Nothing special this weekend, just mowing and working on the car. Working on Hillbilly style wheel alignment. That just means we take careful measurements with the tools we have available.

Have a good weekend everyone!

Morning all. Thats how I align my trucks Stoker. Tires are cheaper than paying for an alignment on my junk.

The heat left and went east. Enjoy it but promise not to return it!

Nothing fancy to eat here. I just had peanut butter and plan to follow it with watemelon flavored Mt Dew. Thats some tasty stuff! Unsure what the day will bring. Take care everyone.

Beautiful day for the pool, water is 87 degrees, solar heated. Current outdoor OAT almost 89 degrees at 5:30pm. The panels are starting to get shaded by this time of day from the tall pines around my yard. The trampoline in the background needs a new mat, last year several of the straps that hold springs had snapped. It's 15 years old, about time lol.

Summer solstice just passed a few days ago. From here on the daytime will shrink and sun sets will drift southward. Slowly at first, increasing towards equinox. Enjoy your summer weekends my coal burning friends, summer is much too short. Although I do enjoy all the seasons, that's why I live here :D

The Axe lost her fire a few days ago... She can rest till October.

Good morning guys! Freddy eating pizza we can’t have that in the house 👎 I’ll fire up the kitchen, sausage patties and scrambled eggs will do the trick. Busy around here, gardening in full swing actually getting some much needed rain at the moment. Glad to see everyone is doing well! Stay safe friends!
