Lunar Eclipse Tonight! Times listed in the table are Eastern Time Zone. Partial begins around 10:30.. Total starts around 11:30 and lasts till 1:00am. Just a few scattered clouds here, I plan on watching.

It was cloudy all day here so I thought it wouldn't be visible, but clouds cleared after dark. Happed to be up after 12 when it reached full eclipse,...sorta.
I was surprised to see that the bottom edge area was more orange than the dull red of the rest of the moon. Saw a full lunar eclipse many years ago and it was more evenly shaded.
Maybe it doesn't align as well as it used to because of glo-bull warming ?

Last night's eclipse was the darkest I've ever seen. I got a few decent pics of the partial but the phone camera had a difficult time picking up the total eclipse. I stayed up thru about 45 minutes of the total phase.
