Good morning. It is cold and damp here outside, but the house is warm and dry from the bottom up! The chef. has a beautiful beef roast salted for this evening, and tomorrow we are bringing desert to Easter dinner at my mom and dad's house. Desert will be maple cheesecake or Lemon Mascarpone cake, to be decided shortly.

Wow, dandelions already. I need to move somewhere warmer! Thats a month or more away here. Some people mow here before May if they are bored but I probably average May 7th for my first mow, early October for last one.
We had tornadoes all around me again the other night. That seems to be becoming a habit here. But not today, it too cold.
As soon as the ground gets solid I'll start picking up firewood Ive been cutting. But today Im going to hang low. For now I'll sneak a few slices of bacon and go and find some trouble to get into. Have fun everyone!

We've had high temps in the 70's and 80's this week, no danger of any snow! Luckily today and tomorrow temps should stay down in the 60's like it should be.
