Morning All!
a nice, crisp 23 degrees down here this morning. I'll be heading out to shop for a New, old truck today. Wish me luck, this is not a good time to be buying, but what are ya gonna do. I think it will be even worse once Spring hits so I better get it done now.
Have a good weekend everybody!

Good morning. Cold and windy here, snowing is blowing so bad I can barely see the mailbox. Supposed to clear off by lunchtime so I am holding off on taking the ashes out until this afternoon.
Chubby JR is cruising at 350 keeping the basement warm. Who was it that suggested putting foil tape over one of the vents on the ash door? I tried it, and it definitely makes it easier to keep the stove <400 degrees.
Don, good luck on the truck shopping. Let us know what you find.

That was me. Glad it worked, figured it would. It really helped me. KISS as they say.
I had that wind storm yesterday evening that some of you folks are having now. Wow, that was nasty! Hold onto your hats! Its been a cold windy winter since late December here, but nothing a pound of crispy bacon cant cure! Take care folks!

Give the chickens their afternoon feed and water tend the stoves and watch the race at Daytona. Have a smooth weekend guys.

I'll grab a cup of the pot dregs, thanks! The snow squall rolled through here about 1:30 with some serious winds. Covered the unpaved areas with a quick coat. HB, you ought to commandeer that ship and press it into coal pallet use. Fill up everything that holds gasoline.
18F last night and 12F tonight. The good times are back!

Interesting week. Lows down to 6° and a high of 60°. Winds just about knock you off your feet sometimes. Mini early Monday morning whiteout blizard dropped 4" in less than 2 hours out of no where. Back went out so I been cursing like a pirate trying to do chores.

Happy Sunday all, Glad to see everyone is keeping busy on this fine weekend .
Just got home from a kinda Southern camping trip (220 miles South) No snow but cold and muddy, We were down in Glouster Oh where everything was flooded, we had a 9:00 AM appointment at OU Saturday and almost didn't make it in time due to all the closed roads ( detour on a detour on another detour crazy) but buy afternoon that day everything was opened again.
We pulled in at 2:30 and my work began with clearing the driveway so I could back the camper in, then onto washing all the salt off of it and after that I had to clean out and relight the Glenwood as it didn't quit make 2 1/2 days alone , it was warm but out .
Time to chill until bed and start it all over again! Have fun and stay safe friends
