Good morning everyone. We briefly dipped down to -20 but are on the rebound now and should be above zero by lunchtime. Zero wind, which makes the cold a piece of cake for my heating system. I stoked the Chubby JR up to 500 degrees and the EFM is running in a pretty regular rhythm.

Hockey at noon - I have the Suburban on standby in the garage, which is a balmy 25 degrees.

-6 this morning also with 95% humidity but we have the pleasure of what I call ice fog. A frosty haze crystalizing everything. Very toasty 76° inside because I cycled my baserays for 20 minutes to get them warm. Only 1 zone for the whole house but a section exposed in unheated crawlspace I don't want to freeze. House was 74° before I circulated with the DS coasting along at 425°. I could tell from last night's sunset it was going to get cold.

Morning all.

Balmy -15 here in Western NY. Both stoves are cranking (FR=99, almost pushing hot coals off, adjusted to max), barely keeping up in this old house. trying to maintain 65, set for 68. Sun is out and warming up to -10 now! LOL. It might catch up soon.

Morning all!

8 degrees down here. I decided to fire up the Harman last night, just because I can. :D When I checked on the Axeman this morning it was sitting at 202 degrees ready to heat something. Doing laundry now, that should keep it happy.

Have a good weekend everyone!

Good morning!
It was 9 degrees here when I got up this morning.
70 degrees upstairs in my room. Before the EFM on a cold night like this would have burned a lot of oil and a lot of coal and it would have been 60 up in my room
