Happy New Year! The coffee is hot and pork and eggs for breakfast sounds appropriate.

Hope this coming year smooths things out & we all have a decent year.

Hug your loved ones & forward we go!

Good morning All,

Yes indeed, pork and eggs for breakfast does sound appropriate. Although the coffee needs some Irish Cream to start the day and the eggs might be some leftover eggnog... but forward we go there's stuff to do. A Happy New Year all, It's still up to us to make the year the best we can.

Morning and Happy New Year All!

I'll cook up some Amish sauerkraut to go with that pork Freddy. That'll put some gas in our tank for the new year!

52 down here this morning. I was playing around with my DHW zone yesterday morning and shut the heating zone OFF. Surprisingly, the house only dropped to 65 degrees this morning, from the 68 degree set point. :o

Have a good weekend everyone!
-Don

Last night we had a nice seafood fest at the Church with a sing along and deserts after. LOL! Our 18 month old runs the show and so we went to bed around 10pm with him. Wife got up earlier than I did and made a nice hot pot of coffee, corned beef hash, leftover ham, and scrambled eggs. Got a nice sirloin spoon roast, green beans, and mashed potatoes to make for dinner. Just cant justify the cost of a rib roast nowadays. I'll probably grab one in a few days when they go on sale. Gonna have a bunch of appetizers for lunch, maybe a few cocktails. Should be a nice relaxing day. Let the Chubby go out a day or so ago. It's been in the 40's here in MA and it's heating us out of the house. A Happy and Blessed New Year to you all!

0 degrees for a high here today so send some heat my way. A pound of bacon with steamy kraut on top should warm me up!

Im just cleaning house a little today and tinkering with some old stuff while listening to a classic country music station on an AM radio. Good way to start the new year. Stay warm or cool, depending on your location and Happy New Year!

You can keep the kraut. But bacon and classic country are right up my alley! And Percolator Coffee!

Yeah Fred, I would never move "up nort" as they say. 20 degree's colder than me much of the year and when it is warm the skeeters eat you alive if the sun isnt out. Duluth might be ok though. Ive been in the Park Rapids area a couple times. Might as well live in Alaska, lol

-5 here now, supposed to hit -18 with wind. Lit my 2nd stove (Chubby Jr) maybe 4 hrs ago, instead of pushing the Riteway. Stair door open, 79 degrees in my living room/bedroom and climbing... Ah.... gotta love it! It seems like the colder it gets outside the warmer I want it inside! If it hits 90 maybe I'll open a window, lol

I shiver thinking of those that keep their houses at 65 and colder. Brrrr... (picture goosebumps)
