Good morning. I am checking in from St. Albans Vermont, halfway through the first hockey game of the day.

In other news, our main hockey hauler is down. Dealer found a bad wheel bearing which eliminated the howling noise at highway speed, but the rumbling/shaking at low speed turns persists. I think it is two unrelated problems, and plan to take a close look at the limited slip differential.

Good morning fellow rock sizzlers. We’ve had a rough couple weeks here in colley valley. Winds did a number on the pool, we’ve had a family shake up with the niece we were fostering and we have come to the conclusion we will
Never I mean never purchase a Ford again. Worst riding vehicle today you can purchase, try an prove me wrong. Anyway, I’m looking a Saturdays as the start of a new week. It’s way better than viewing Monday as the start I’m discovering. You’ll notice we got the sidearm installed in another post. Always makes the morning coffee taste better when something was accomplished, especially something that might save a buck or 2. Hug your loved ones. Stay warm

Morning all!

Temps around 40 and wet here, that's pretty normal for once. I'll be working on Axeman's today. I'm still refining my ashing motor set up on the one here and we have put a separate auger motor on the Axeman Heats Wood Boiler project. Time to wire that up!

Have a good weekend everyone!

Raining, but still going to go down to the National Cemetery and place a wreath. The folks that started that whole thing are from my home area in Maine. Spoke with Morrill and his son last summer when back in Maine. Always meant to go and do it, this is the year. I had a friend go to Arlington with one of the original early convoys from Maine and said it was an emotional trip. Wish it was nicer weather......

Thanks for the coffee D-frost! Good stuff.

The Wreaths Across America is amazing. Almost a quarter million wreaths left Maine this year headed to Arlington Cemetery.

I fired up the Axeman Anderson a couple of days ago. The heat pumps are OK, but it's more comfy here with the black rocks burning.

2 to 5 inches of snow coming tonight.... that should make for a white Christmas. Enjoy!

Mornin' all. I spent a fair amount of time the last two days dealing with the aftermath of the wind storm and hope to sit in my chair at least part of today. Theres still a lot of picking up to do at my Dads but that is for a warmer day as it involves a chainsaw, cottonwoods, green ash and soft maples. Bacon, more bacon! Stay warm and safe!

Ford what? I have an Expedition, Suburban, and a Ram truck. The Expedition is leaps and bounds ahead in handling and comfort.

We have about 2" of snow on the ground now. Looking nice now. Went out yesterday to cut down our Christmas tree. The spouse has it all decorated. Did some minor mods to the new tractor and now relaxing. Good day to all.

I loved our 11 traverse , so much we bought a 15 traverse. Prior to foster situation we decided let’s get a pickup. Had a sweet deal on a 2020 Colorado Duramax. I had a 14 Cadillac I swapped for an 18 explorer at the local dealership when the foster situation sprung up on us. The intelligent awd can go suck it. Rides like a 1865 conastoga. Now my 14 f150 company worktruck (xL model) rides nice but I’m loaded in the bed with a pack rat and tool boxes. Just not happy after tradin a caddy.
