These companies that are firing their unvacinated employes should be boycotted, I feel it's not their right to tell me to get the jab. Also with them screaming about no one wants to work i call that BS, pay them a decent wage and health insurance and " They will come!!!!!!! "

Voting out the politicians that are pushing for vaccine mandates seems more effective to me.

My employer is offering $20 per hour, 3 weeks paid vacation, and excellent health insurance at hardly any cost to the employee....and we can't fill our open positions. We even went directly to some local high schools to try and higher graduates. We did not get one applicant. Personally I wonder if our drug testing policy is a really limiting our applicant pool.

True. In my case it is a heated & air conditioned manufacturing facility with everything you need to do your job safely. High school diploma, good attitude, and passed drug screening is all you need. It is nothing like working in a pulp mill or something like that. I really don't understand the lack of interest.

What I think is how a private business wants to run their business is up to them and employees should be fired for anything they desire, even without explanation. Just to be clear, the reason can be anything.

The Lawyers couldn't be happier. Lots of fun for the next few years. Every employer will be on his own to defend their actions. Glad I'm not in business any more. What a nightmare.

With the lifting of eviction moratorium and these extra benefits drying up this isn't going to continue. Those kids will be looking for jobs eventually and be kicking themselves in the ass for not taking advantage of high wage opportunities.

I would have absolutely no problem with an employer requiring you to go to church, mosque or whatever. Once again my belief is that is across the board. Here is the requirements for your employment, take it or leave it.

Melissa and I have been checking the past couple of months. Every store we go in has "Now hiring" signs up on, or next to the entrance doors. It's not just manufacturing,..... seems a lot of people just don't want to work, no matter what the job is.

I see nobody ever read their company handbook. The very first or last line in handbook says "This is not a contract between employer and employee ".

Also the Right to work Act.
Employer can dismiss employee any time, for any reason, they shall choose.

I completely agree. Private companies should be able to do as they please, but they seem to be making up the rules as they go. What has changed about an individual's skills prior to covid? Absolutely nothing, just the rules!!! Are they now worthless to the company for not getting a vaccine? Going into a new job the rules are clear, but changing them on present employees is not fair. Especially a rule with as much controversy as this.
