My Mom was very young when she had her first child. He was put up for adoption, not by her choice.. It was one of those double blind deals, even his birthday was changed by a couple days, I guess to stump anyone trying to find him. I was told about him roughly 15 or so years ago. Since then, I've tried to find him but kept running into dead ends.
He submitted DNA to ancestry dot com and it pinged a cousin here. Then thru that cousin he found my Mom. So just a few days ago I get a call from my Mom saying that he had contacted her. It's all been quite the revelation! We are all so very happy He's 3 years older than me and lives in Texas. He's making plans to come meet us soon. In the meantime we've been on the phone, texting and video chatting. It's like the missing puzzle piece that has been put in place. It's all so exciting, I've been completely consumed with all of this lately.

Wow that’s so awesome, since they are in a cold spell hopefully you can teach him about the warm of coal heat.
Here is my co workers back yard this morning in the San Antonio area. They were all saying how cold it was and they are having rolling black outs because the power grid is over taxed.

Yep, he's running a generator for the basic stuff. He lost power around 2:00am last night.Holdencoal wrote: ↑Mon. Feb. 15, 2021 4:30 pmThey were all saying how cold it was and they are having rolling black outs because the power grid is over taxed.
