Snow has an R value of 1 per inch. It sucks shoveling it, but a nice blanket of fresh snow on the house helps hold the heat in.

our forecast is for 6-8"

going to be a problem at work as the areas we move snow to are already about full but,

with less than 60 days left, that's no longer my concern LOL

It’s here in Indiana now Fred. The front is right at the nw corner of PA and the tail is just leaving Kansas, on a direct line toward you.

It’ll either loose some or pick more up by the time it gets there. Bring in another couple buckets of coal and dump the ash pan early. No sense having to go out in the middle of it

Be careful out there it’s going to be wolf weather for the next 24-36 hours or so

Whipping across the prairie now. No one showed up for work but me. Going home will be fun I’m sure.

Took me twice as long to get home as it usually does. 4wd the whole way. A few drifts slowed her down pretty good. Hardest thing was trying to see where the road meets the ditches. Looks like it’s all done now and I just heard a plow go by for the first time. Thursday will probably be a repeat.

From what I can see of radar you may have most of whatever you are going to get by now

Looks to be slanting more north north east now

Stay warm
