Greetings Under Unfortunate News...
CoalNewbie's much beloved wife Shelley passed away in Simon's Arms after a brain aneurism. Short but sweet, she and Simon experienced a Victory over Cancer, after a more than four month mobile combat action that involved driving through Mexico and the Southern tier of the United States pursuing aggressive medical treatment to get her healthy! Simon never left her side! What claimed her Life was the classic surprise, yet not before she rode her mount in no less than two high level Equestrian Competitions. Simon's Spirits are Strong! Today is her Honorarium in their riding arena at home. It's an online Zoom attendence event. I am putting the info in the link below. This is happening now. Testing and Debugging of the Zoom Event is being conducted as I type. It should be good to go if you enter it now,but the formalities start more around 1100 hours.

All of this came about to me via a purely chance phone call to Simon. I hadn't heard from him in ages,so something told me to call. Thank God I did! Now you have it! All of this is being provided with Simon's express permission and want of you to know what happened. He wanted you all to know that Shelley's care took all of his time and dedication that he so willingly gave,so that's why he hasn't been around. I'm not a technical guru, but I have copied the Zoom access info in the pasted link below. Simon's son is the Tech Wizard behind all of this, and hats are off to him. Here We Go!

Dan Welch is inviting you to a scheduled Zoom meeting.

Very sorry for you loss, after so much fighting. High level equestrian....sounds like she went out doing what she loved. And that is the victory.

Simon, please accept our condolences on the loss of Shelley, your special friend and spouse.

I for one have missed your wit and writing but I can understand why.

My wife, a BA survivor since 1994, has had a long long road to recovery from just such an event. Our thoughts are with you.

Ed
