Need some advice Boy's
Want to hook this Harman up in the garage with a power vent, any advice on how high up the wall i should mount the power vent? Also should i put a baro on it? I am going to make the hole for it inbetween the wall studs, any other tips or tricks you fellows can come up with?

The surface outside will determine the height, to be off the ground. I would make it an even number of uncut smoke pipe for convenience.
A baro would compensate for eventual ash accumulation on the fan blades.

Are the fields direct vents coal certified? I thought just oil and gas.

Remember in the event of a power failure your stove will run far longer than a flat bed stoker. CO poisoning is more likely, even in a garage, unless the garage is detached from the house.
Yes, It was. I believe you cannot put a handfired on a powervent, not sure tho

i don;t believe you can run a power vent with a hand fired stove, stokers can only get so hot because the burn plate is only so big at full burn and the power venters can accomodate it and they go out pretty quick when there is a power failure.
, the hand fired can run much hotter and longer and might need more draft on larger burns. and if power fails, like they said, CO can be a problem.

I hand fired stove CAN NOT be used with a power vent.

More importantly..... how hot do you need to run that stove to get the room temps you want ? A stove on the small side will have far higher pipe temps to keep things comfortable than a larger stove run slower, but heat output is comfortable.
Start at the stove, and get that what you want, then see what that does with the pipe.
