Good day fellow rock burners! It's coffee time....and almost time to start burning those black beauties. Come on, have a big ol' cup of Jo & join us for a moment. There's pancake batter ready to hit the griddle along with fresh fruit & even some bacon. Even just one slice of bacon makes pancakes much better. Try it~!

We've been building a little deck on the back of the house. I was horrified at the poor quality of the pressure treated wood available so we didn't use much. We used KD wood for the stringers painted on the bottom edge, and a cover of ice and water shield with a 1/2" overhang on the top edge. Then cedar 5/4" for the decking with a coat of clear on top. I don't care of it needs replacing in 20 years.... it looks good now. The old stairs and tiny deck will be getting new treads.

Hope you all stay stay safe & healthy. Still a bit of a road ahead of us before Covid is a thing of the past. If they let me, I'll be first in line for the vaccine.

Forward we go!

Good morning fellows. Deck looks good Freddy. Same weather coming in here to Hb. Guess I’m going to fire the Hitzer back up again. Third time this fall wish the weather would make up its mind. Once it dries out here I guess I’ll clean up some leaves. Has any one in the coffee house heard from Buffalo Bob? It’s been awhile since he’s been on, he mentioned awhile back about finishing up chemo. Hope all is well with him. Well guys have a great weekend.

Morning all!

H.B. that "43" degree stuff is going to take a long time to get down here, but it will get here. Thursday when I got in the car to drive home from work, it was 83 degrees! :what: I can't wait for the cool-off.

Not much going on here.

Stay healthy and safe everyone!

Working 24 at the FD today. One of my coworkers was kind enough to stop by with some very good donuts. We always have coffee on at the firehouse. Hoping to tie up a few small projects at the house before winter hits. Also, may have a hand fired Chappee Boiler in the works. If that works out I'll be ready in case the price of oil goes up. Have a good day gents!

It’s a restoration shop but that’s the owners private collection upstairs. The last picture was a 1917 White, I’ve never seen one of those. It was a fun day.
