The "Camper " The good, the Bad and the Ugly,,,,
Well shame on me, could not walk away from this! Mamma is mad and the grandkids call it " Pappa's big bomb " Well i paid $800.00 dollars for this big mess. Hope i didnt make a big mistake but this is going to be my winter retirement project ! Should keep me busy most of the winter,,,,maybe 2 winters!!! Keep me away from the better-half for awhile ,, Well the good is the refrigerator works very well and i plan on keeping it stocked up all winter long! The bad is the air cond. run for one day then quit on me,,,, have to check it out And last of all ,,, you can all see the UGLY ! Will take some time and a few cold ones but i will get it under control! Hopefully

He paid you $800? lol just kidding. Gotta love the mad wife, kids or grandkids making fun of you projects! Best of luck with the project. My buddy was just telling me about people flipping trailers and getting some serious cash from people with no sense but deep pockets. Tell the doubters that one!

PS--what the hell do grand-kids know anyway!!! LOL PSS--we had a lot of fun with the Winnebego for a few yrs. Hit many Pow-Wow's up & down the east coast.

All it needs is a little TLC, Its a stick and tin camper( not a bonded fiberglass sidewalls camper which when get wet they delaminate and the 1/8'' plywood rots your screwed because its not repairable ) you can replace all the wood and replace the siding without any problems.
campers are a giant maintenance nightmare as it never ends and you need to keep up with it, If its a seasonal unit its not to bad but if its goes down the road every two weeks then it can be a full time job keeping up with it, trust me as we spend 50 to 60 nights a year in our fifth wheel at different places in different states.
You can make a nice camper out of that if you want to but just remember to keep the water out!

Thats gonna be a nice unit. Way to big for anything I want, but I love a project also. Been looking at getting a building and rebuild a few boats. They are hot right now also.

Only a fool wouldn't have bought that. Looks like a great candidate for a Coal pail forum rendezvous?
