Not much going on here with the 6 inches of snow we got. I was hauling gravel for my driveway, but the snow put a stop to that.

I worked on my generator some, but other then painting some things up, and getting the generator frame ground off, and then repositioned so it was square to the engine, and had room for some double-v-belts; I did not do much.

Friday was my 46th birthday, and it was good. Katie got me a grill/smoker, but it will not arrive for a few days, so I am excited to try that. We like our food here, especially our seafood like Salmon, so smoking it will be a new taste for us.

Happy bday NS! You will either love the smoker/grill, or hate it....LOL Everything has a learning curve and different rigs work differently....but the rewards for a job well done can be fantastic....

Ended up with 13 inches of heavy wet snow. Can't plow it cause the ground has thawed to much. My brother is digging out the John Deere tractor with a 6 ft snowblower. It's all good...we're used to it, but it does get old, when I see people posting that they are mowing their lawns!😆 I'm still smoking a beef roast and my sons are coming for supper.👍

Well, I'm gonna try this ORBYTV set up--now I got DISH for the BASIC channels for $43.00 a month--ORBY is $133.00 installed with equipment--1 shot deal--then $40.00 a month tax included--I had all that free antenna set-up but had to get up on ladder periodically a couple X's a year to re-direct it--can't do that anymore!! ORBY gives me a lot more channels plus all locals for that price--WTF--they're a new company as of--I think 2017--soooo, yep, gonna give it a shot--installer is coming this Fri. --- we'll see how it works out. 3 bucks is 3 bucks--for the $36 bucks I'll be saving per year, I can buy a lot of horse feed!! LOL Stay tuned (pun intended) for updates!!

Fred - ORBYTV uses an antenna attached to the satellite dish to get your local channels. I am interested to hear how it works for you.

Fred - is operation "cheap SAT TV" still on for tomorrow?

Did you call Dish yet? They will offer to cut your bill in half to keep you. Stay strong. :-)

Yep, tomorrow between 1 & 4 PM no problem loosing DISH--will call after I'm happy with ORBY install & make sure it is all they say. I'm curious on the separate antenna for local stations.

Me too. Good idea as long as you have some decent over the air signals in your area. Even when the weather knocks out the satellite feed the locals should still work.
