Always good to hear the first peepers. I live along a stream and marshy area and they started here about a week ago. Not so much the last couple of chilly evenings.

Always a welcome sign of Spring! Peepers, Osprey and piles of poo on the fields are our confirming signs that Spring has arrived!

Yes always great to here them as nature wakes up from the winter. I have a stream and wetlands at the back of the property but haven't heard them yet. Maybe they know something about the April fools weather event that is predicted in New England.

Hearing them is a pleasure I missed for a decade before I got hearing aids! Nothing sounding off here in Northwest NJ just yet but will be soon. The understory in the woodlot is bringing on some green. Coons raiding the feeders and Coalheat had a good size black bear on his camera the other day. This spring is opening up.

We went for a walk in the orchard two nights ago. It was so silent it was eerie. Zero wind, no bugs, no cars in the distance, not a sound. I look forward to the peepers.

Nice pic Rob. What's growing in the wire row?
