I dunno about you guys but for my neck of the woods here in the southern tier of western NY it's been a very mild winter. We did have an occasional storm and it did go below zero but only one or two nights. This Sunday the forecast is 57 and sunshine, Monday 59. I wouldn't be surprised to see 60+. They always seem to forecast the high temps a little shy when things are way above average like that. The rest of March looks good with high 40's and 50's. I saw an article that reported above average temps for March, April and May with an early spring..
We didn't even have any snow cover for long periods of time.. it always seemed to warm up and melt off every so often and the ground didnt freeze hardly at all.

Soft winter here in sw Pennsylvania the only thing consistent here has been mud! I’m thinking my new Hitzer scared winter away lol. I usually get 125 plus hours of ot plowing and salting roads...this year around 30 hours ouch no extra cash.

Yup, I am marked safe. I shouted out to various friends that have children over in that area though.....bunch of young Mainers in those parts.Just a question any one heard from KLook after the tornado?
It was only 8 years ago that one touched down less then a mile from where I am living now and took out a lot of houses, not like the one in Nashville....but if your in it, you don't forget it. One of my good friends watched from his safe room while the whole house peeled away.....

Still have a quarter ton here to burn, before all is said and done. Hoping for another week or two of freezing, so I don't have-ta store these bags all summer. Is that foolish, or what?
