In the good old days the Breadman and the Milkman delivered to your door.
I was born far too late to have witnessed this, but I would have fit in.

We might have a about four inches of RAIN but that is about it.

The wind is blowing something fierce however.

The dog has got to go to the bathroom, but she sees the rain and wind, and refuses to go out. Kind of funny because she killed (2) fox and (2) coyotes, but is getting kind of soft since she retired. Now wind and rain is too much for her. Silly dog...

Well turns out things got a little complicated yesterday.. At 9:00am our supervisor posted on our bread men group thread that it was our decision (if able) to come in, load our trucks and service whatever we could but be back to the depot by 2:30. So, instead of compiling all of Thursday's work on top of friday many of us opted to go in and run part of our routes. I'm glad I did because with the exception of blowing snow and cold, the roads weren't in very bad shape. I was actually able to run about 3/4s of my route.
