First off,,,, Happy New Year!! It's offical boy's, I've hung the hard hat up for good  I've made it to retirement, never thought i would live this long! Many things to do, spend more time with the wife and all the grandkids, lots of projects to do and want to travel. My dream come true would be to go up to Alaska and do some Gold Mining,,,, Maybe you all will see me on the show "Goldrush !" Remember " Life is Good and you always eat dessert first ! "

WOW Congratulations !!!🎈 I have 8 more years and it seems like a lifetime away!! Enjoy every second with your Family ! My brother in law told me that I need to retire to take care of the kids & grandkids don’t want to do that ! Rather teach them to take care of themselves 😂😂

Congratulations. I know personally I'll never be bored a second in retirement. There is so much that needs to be done all the time! Can't imagine anyone else on here being any different really.

Welcome to the club. I retired a number of years ago, however, I continued to have the shop open doing projects I really wanted to do. This past year I had slowed the shop to an idle and have recently closed it. I'm still young so I want to play. Not sure how I worked considering how busy I am now I'm fully retired. Enjoy each day as they seem to speed by at warp speed.

The snowman.
