Mornin'
Freddy, I found the 'sock'-coffee's on!!!!
Brrrr.....28* outside. Lit the 'black rocks' in the Herald last night- 72* inside temp. Old bones like heat. Stay warm, and healthy, everyone.
Cheers

Thanks D-Frost I was going to open but you beat me to it.
I have a lot to do today as I've been nursing lower back pain from handling camping wood ( firewood bad coal good :D ) replace a wheel bearing in my wife's car, take scrap to the scrap yard and whatever else I can find to do. I did start the Glenwood last night so now we have some real heat and not the crap from the heat pump  .
Ok people I have to run have a good week to come!

Morning everyone.

Thanks for prying the door open and getting to coffee going D! I got my truck back from the welder yesterday. New floor is in, I had them paint the bald roof too. Looks better than ever now. Ready for another 268,000 miles! :D

Hey Hey HEY~! Good coffee. I just got back from the annual hunters breakfast. The Mason's lodge puts on a breakfast the first day of deer season each year. Good eats!

Gettin' closer to firing up the Axeman Anderson. I'm getting tired of the weak heat from the heat pumps.

Good looking floors in the Chevy. Nice.

Hope you all have a smooth weekend!

Morning all,

28 down in the holler at the Tipple this morning. A little slower than expected, only 2 customers so far but it is getting about that time of morning when everyone shows up at once!

Brought truck home last weekend full of coal for a delivery and my kids were excited until I told them it was not for our house. Natural gas is convenient but just not like the even heat of coal.
Probably cave in and fire the old girl up in a week or two.

Back to work, see you guys next Saturday!

First frost of the season this morning. We had 31 at our house, and 29 up at the hockey rink (a few miles farther from the lake). Dad called me and said I need to report in after lunch and help him get his EFM fired up. My mom said she is tired of listening to the oil boiler.

Good morning all,
You know if you fill the sock and then twist it tight and wring it you get an espresso... or at least a French press coffee...
Current activity is building a hearth and back wall for the Saey, my wife just informed me it has to be done for Thanksgiving, so we'll see and given the fact I'm no carpenter and never did tile this will be interesting and maybe somewhat amusing... buts I got a plan :eh:

Hello all!
Gettin chilly, 28f this morning, so I fired up the Crane 404. Scraping the bottom of the coal bin. Was gonna go get a ton today, but the skid loader is torn apart in front of the coal bin and the shop didn't have my cylinder done yet. Hopefully next weekend. Good to stop back in after a long spring/summer.

Thanks!
Unfortunately, the truck only got to look good for one day.
I was about to get in it this afternoon and a branch came crashing down on the hood. I ran, as I was running I heard another CRACK! A big branch came down right across the roof!

It put a pretty good dent and scuff marks on the right rear corner. A bunch if little dents across the middle. Oh well.

Hi guys

This mornings coffee found me Half asleep at a hotel someplace in Ohio... I think it was in Lima. Hell, I don’t even remember the name of the joint I was so beat. Brittany and I drove yesterday to Monroeville, Indiana to pick up a Peterbilt that I bought and bring it home. We started home for a few hours and then parked and partied it up with a steak at Applebee’s.

We left the hotel at 8 this morning (breakfast wasn’t until 7) and after some stops for fuel and to give my back a rest, we pulled into town at about 5. The truck will get a lime spreader body mounted on it this Winter.

Rubber block suspension on 46,000 lb rears... my kidneys are still laying on a bridge on I-70 out around New Stanton somewhere. Now pass me the Wild Turkey please... :what:

Leaving Lima, Ohio this morning. I should have made Brittany drive the Pete instead.
