This isn’t really coal related and I wasn’t really sure where to stick this topic.

We took a family trip to PA. While passing through we decided to visit the Crayola Factory and let the kids unwind a bit. They had a display showing how the design of the crayon box has changed over the years. Very interesting, but my first thought was...wow, look at how beautiful the original box of crayons were. Very eye catching! You know who ever designed it took pride in their work. Although this story has to do with Crayons, it’s reflected in many aspects of todays society. Those familiar with turn of the century stoves know exactly what I mean and how ornate they were compared to todays counterparts. Today everything feels generic and stamped out as quick as possible to turn a dime. Really sad how this has gotten lost through the years.
