Wonder if it will be quieter than the SST's ?
They said they weren't noisier than 747 when they fought to allow them to land and take off from JFK airport. I lived 20 miles east of JFK on Long Island's south shore. If the breeze was from anywhere near west of us, we could hear them take off and head out over the ocean. Can't imagine what it was like for anyone living near the flight path.

Not so sure Boom is ideal name for jet company for more reasons than just the noise.
I saw a few documentaries on the Concorde, as I recall there was some shenanigans going on when they were certifying the noise level.
