Good day folks! Plenty of seats, so come on in & spend a moment. The fresh ground coffee is rich and hot. Ahhhh, nice. Poached eggs on home made toast sounds good to me. Any bacon?

Well, it's chilly in the shop since I shut off the Axeman Anderson. I've even used a bit of electric to take the chill off. That being said, we have had some wonderful weather this week and the weekend is aiming to be nice too.

I did it! I took my sign down yesterday....another step toward retiring. I refused (almost) all jobs this last week. It's tough to do! When a neighbor comes in & needs a simple thing done, well, seems I'm willing to help.

My "son" Joe is racing tonight at the 1/3 mile local track. I'm going to go watch. Don't forget the ear plugs!

Take care, enjoy each day as best you can.

Hi guys

A little slow here this morning after another night of cooking fries at the Lions club wing night. We served over 200 which was a lot more than I expected for the warmer months. Now we are off until October comes.

There will be some truck maintenance this morning and then the ceremonial mowing of the grass once again. This evening will be spent with friends of ours that we truck with for his boys graduation party. Looks to be a very nice evening.

Have a great week everyone!

Poached eggs here as well; my hens layed some double yolkers this week and they are "wicked" good.

Lucky you've got that race track down there Freddy, our local one up here is up for sale...so the closest now us Bangor.

Great weather for the weekend here in Maine! Let the fun begin.😉

Coaljockey..Those grad. parties are great...I had one last night and one for tomorrow....enjoy.😎

Good Morning Freddy & others not up yet. Not much going on here, local flooding in places that never had problems. Many fields haven't even been turned over, don't know why but my neighbors hay has been ready for weeks but we can't get a run of four days or so of dry weather. I don't have much going on except finally getting around to stripping an old Snap-On tool box to hopefully make useable once again. Want to get a steel roof put on the house, guess I shouldn't have told the Amish guy there was no hurry but I'd at least like to get his price. Hope all are well, safe & productive.

Just coffee and then off to a breakfast at a local farm. First cutting is on the floor at our local farmers and by Sunday night should be in the barn. Never thought it would happen. Mowers all busted up and need a lot of care. Of course, JD never have anything in stock that you need.

Niece to be wed outdoors today, looks to be a great for that.

Six of us are going fishing in July off the southeast coast of Alaska for salmon and halibut, so Sunday we are all getting together with a local guy who is a 15 trip vetran who will help us know what to expect and be prepared for.

Then there is a geo heat pump in the middle of getting replaced in a small outbuilding whenever time permits...old one was a 1994 model that did us well but new means better technologies.
Just a big water cooled "refrigerator" with a reversing valve, fan and a wall thermostat...

We're in the middle of the 17 year cicada brood of 2019 now, could of been a Alfred Hitchcock movie.
Noticed some wildlfe find them easy meals...

Good morning friends, everything is very good as usual Freddy( just waiting for you to start roasting your own beans :) ) I've been busy on this beautiful weekend, I got the camper all cleaned up yesterday, this morning I found what was causing my wife car to throw the TPMS light and got my brakes on the truck lubed ( caliper pins and never-seized the aluminum wheels) so far Its been a very productive day!

Hi Larry, I'm not 100% sold on new means better, my neighbor put in a new heat pump ( not a geo unit ) 2 years and has been down 3 times :o I have a old one like you and Its been down 1 time since it was installed in 92'. His is a lot more efficient but no way near as reliable. I like the more reliable part better

Ok friends this stuff isn't going to do it self so have a good weekend and enjoy the day! :D

Yep!, Barry, I know what you speak of there with old and less complicated, I do my own work for the most part and try to stay educated as to how it should operate and what can be a weak spot.

I subscribe to the mantra...it's not the Brand...it's the Hands that make it all work proper.

I am not in a hurry so that helps a bunch too. ;)
