This question is here ? :?

Ok, I'll play wherever..... I used Rutland Castable refractory when I made a mold and cast new firebricks for my base heater.

The firebricks in my range are the original red (pink) fireclay. I use Hercules furnace cement whenever I need to chisel off clumps of clinker scale and patch the "clinker divots", or glue cracked sections together.

I'll add to the question. Where/who do you buy it from? Its like the pound on stuff is some kind of trade secret as to its source. The refractory is easy to find but not the other.

The ram, pound on stuff or plastic refractory comes in 50# box and shipping can be high at that weight...box is like the size of a 50# box of nails.

Looks like ramming and plastic are two different product:

Somebody used something like puddy or clay like stuff, my stove is assembled , can I use something and install it now, my stove has a part that can only be installed during the assembly processes, its the over fire air part that completes the fire pot..

Someone posted not long ago about this, but I cant find it..

My furnace died the other day and I had little wood, had a ton of coal but my fire pot will glow if I burn it, I don't have the experience you guys do, but want to be prepared for a future event should this happen again. So what's the best way to go about this with my #77 ?

Please advise..

There is a difference between AS/ air dried and FS/ fire dried.

Try locating a plumbing and boiler parts supply house - usually found in larger cities. I've picked up ram-set refractory from one in Utica, NY.
