I have lots of Virginia Creeper here, and grapes, apples, pears, walnuts, oaks, honeysuckles, crab apples, etc, so birds and critters have a lot to eat here. Problem is Im like on an island surrounded by several million acres of corn fields  It takes a tough hardy bird to live here. i do get a lot of Robins, Eagles and Hawks, Finch and less desireables. My fav are the Nighthawks and Prairie Falcons.

Did a box check today. Found 5 blue bird nests out of 8 boxes.

Mr. Blue bird is busy feeding mom and himself. Mom is sitting on eggs.

Time to chicken wire smoke pipe cap to keep them s.o.b. from coming down the pipe.

Other 3 boxes have Jenny Wrens in them. Just starting to build the nest.

I had a squirrel in my stovepipe before I lit it. I choose to disconnect the pipe and carry it outside.
