Yup, total lunar eclipse tonight in view from North America. Currently a few fast moving patchy clouds at my location, I'll be braving the sub zero weather to watch it. The show starts around 10:30pm, totality begins at 11:41pm. Don't miss it!

PERFECT here, but should of dressed for being outside.
It was near straight overhead and would've needed ceiling skylights to enjoy from indoors.

Even crude binoculars gave a very detailed view of shadowed colored moon.

The sky cleared and I got a few cellphone pics. No real definition but you can see the reddish shadow the umbra created.

Nice pics! Yep, it was straight up. I had to have my face low against a patio door window facing east to see it. If I had to go outside to see it I wouldnt have saw it. Way too cold.
