All gave some, some gave all. I'm thinkin that pretty much covers it!! I'll be going down to the Marathon,NY cemetery at 11:00 AM for our lil do-dad. Seems less & less people show up each year. Just us old fks that remember how we've gotten what we have in this Country.

That's to bad Fred!

Thank you everyone for your service and what you gave for this country!

And what the others gave that cannot enjoy this beautiful country!

Thanks for the reminder Fred. Hopefully you bumped into some others with the same sentiment at the cemetery.

God bless those who served and those serving now! I will be picking up my dad later today and take him to the wine store. Then to White Oak Vets . They put out a nice spread for those who served. It will be mostly old farts like me and Dad, he turned 90 this year, and don’t get out much. Have a good day all!

No one that ever served this Country will EVER be forgotten as long as the few true PATRIOTS remain. (EFB 1945)

Our small town raised thru donations and supporters over $50K for this new monument and upgrades in our local park, it's an interactive kiosk for all veterans from our area back to Revolutionary War. Really cool addition. We had a nice ceremony and unveiling yesterday for it. Thank you to all veterans.

Weird... It did slip my mind when I made coffee last week, but I came back, saw this and I added my thoughts to this post..... but never hit "submit"?

Certainly, thanks to all that served our wonderful and hard fought for country.
