A lot of variables but right now I place this under the interesting thoughts category. After a horrendous year we leave for CA on Sept 6 for one week. Shelley is off to see her dad. Wednesday morning is fish or cut bait time. This guy has my attention. I always wondered how you would empty out LI. One of the arguments against Indian Point NPP made by Cuomo is you can't.

and the latest is Miami dead on. Now that will be a disaster as they already have water problems (not that that means anything, they are always wrong). My MIL lives in W Palm Beach and I am going to buy her a beach ticket. We live in hope.

It would appear that my weekend is safe from Irma, thank God I don’t live in Miami or Florida for that matter.
Here is a song for you all going to Miami

Hate to say it but it looks like it is going to run between FL and Cuba and right into Houston from the latest track.

Miami goodbye. 40' surge, 40' waves and they are having trouble with rising water now. Water temp 88*, all nice and juicy to get those winds up to 200mph. Goodbye to flood insurance until forever. That is my bet and I hope I am wrong, The Al gore lunies will be out in full force.

I believe Allen in 1980 had wind speeds at 190 MPH, highest speeds recorded I think.
