Dear Mrs. Efo141,

I am so sorry for your loss. Please allow me to offer the words of e.e. cummings in an effort to comfort you and yours.

"As rooms are separated by a curtain,
So are our lives; yes, like those rooms; the first
One is our present life; the second is
Our life to come--our better life in Heaven;
The separating curtain--it is death."

Sincere sympathies,
Lola

Thank-you all so much, I read these notes thru tear filled eyes and thankful that you knew what a great and talented man he was.Our lives will never be the same.I miss him reading me the jokes on the forum or laughing at all the fun things, and yes also telling him sometimes to walk away from the forum and he needed a self help group-I am sure one or two of you have heard this before as we well.Just to let you know our 17 year old has stepped up and is taking care of the hand fed stove at this point but we will have to switch over to the stoker soon, much to my dismay because I have had so many bruises and memories from gathering all of that free coal for the handfed stove (and there will be questions!) And BTW Edmund was always telling me stuff about the stoves and of coarse I thought ok yeah yeah-info I do not need to know but do you know I have been out in his coal room(which he loved so dearly) and I remembered these things so to all you men, the women are taking some of this info in. Awe Paula. Thank you for keeping us informed. Atta-Boy to your son. seems the apple dosnt fall far.

feel free to keep his addiction going here. any questions at all will be answered too, quicker than you can realize as, its more than a stove thing. It is a real friendship and true display of the helpful American spirit that lived so strong in Ed as it does in many here.
