Thanks for the update HB. Positive news is what we were looking for. Sounds like he's making progress and will be reporting for duty in time as all good marines do.

Welcome Donna! Im glad your figuring that stove out. Other than both having a fire, wood and coal are very different. Slow and steady wins the race with coal, instead of being hot for an hour, cold for an hour, refill, repeat, with wood.

Hi Donna ..... Glad to have you on board!

Please don't put us all in the same category as HB ..... Believe it or not some of us are actually normal sane people.

Normal or not we are all concerned about FF and are here to help out however we can.

Let him know he is in our prayers and when he is back on his feet I'll take a trip up to visit and lend a hand to the old buck. :D

Hmmmmmm .... I think the Marine is older than me , but then again maybe not. In any case give him a big hug and let him know I still have that six pack of Bartels Beer on ice for him.

Welcome to the forum Donna, glad HB convinced you to stop in. My wife and I met Fred only once but he made an impression. We both agreed that he is a character that you seldom find, especially nowadays. We both are thinking of him and pulling for his recovery.
