Late but drinking some Coffee right now have been working all weekend, lit the boiler Wednesday night had 29 this morning with a frost, and is supposed to be around 30 again tonight I think the warmth has left us for good this season. It’s nice to be heating the domestic hot water again on coal, won’t shut the boiler down again until I have to replace the hopper, my repairs might get me through a year or two. I hope the cold gets to the rest of you soon.
Lightning too bad your AA won’t run this year, what’s the hold up??

I worked all weekend too so I missed Saturday coffee and breakfast. No problem I went dumpster diving and found me some slightly burnt pancakes. They were cold but otherwise tasty enough.
Bob you don't look a day over 60, happy birthday. Last week my wife got carded at a bar... and all she wanted was water! I don't know what the girl at the bar was thinking but she was probably younger than the wife's daughter who is over thirty. It aggrevated my wife a little but I told her she just looks young.

Well, I had an accident with a pine tree over the summer and tore up my shoulder. So I'm having surgery Oct 4th and will be off work minimum of two months to 12 weeks. I can't spend any unnecessary money right now.hotblast1357 wrote: ↑Sun. Sep. 23, 2018 7:50 pmLightning too bad your AA won’t run this year, what’s the hold up??

Who sent the cold and damp in this direction? Heat pumps make lousy heat! They do save a bunch of coal... but I want my blue ladies dancing!

Hmmm, once gain this board has saved me money. Seemed a good idea at the time. I only have the coal heat on for a few hours and the house feels different, not warmer, just much cozier.Heat pumps make lousy heat
I have bu**ered up my right knee and so it was tough to get to the basement. Shelley just looked at me, grabbed a starter bag. played with the thermostat and bingo heat. Do you think she has worked out that I am not as useful as I think I am? ccchhiiiittt. Never teach a student all your best tricks.
