Sepsis infection, very serious for a 92 year old Parkinson's patient. Broken Heart Syndrome is real. How many of us know people who lost a long term spouse and the other followed shortly? I've known a few.

Melissa works in Nursing homes and has said the same thing - very elderly dying not long after their spouse is quite common.
