It's great to give them a home and have the company if you can. Sometimes they give you no choice.
This little guy got separated from his Momma and somehow got into my shop and kept hiding under work benches when I tried to catch him. Finally resorted to the old trick of putting the food bowl under a box with one end held up by a stick with pull sting attached. Within a few minutes he came out right to the food bowl. I didn't dare leave him outside with the cold and not knowing where Momma is, sooooo.......
He's about 4 weeks old. Since I caught him on the LEO stepson's birthday, Melissa decided to name him Cop-purr.

After losing my beloved Golden Retriever Jessie back at the beginning of September and being in a lonely house I finally adopted a couple of 6 month old kittens from a local animal shelter. They are great company and love the coal fired Harman.
They're guarding the coal box.
