A young Russian couple is really into animals, wild and domestic. Many videos of lynx and bobcat. They get them young and overwhelm them with affection and attention, with remarkable results. The animals are socialized to people, domestic cats and dogs.
There is also tragedy as so many animal stories end. The man was also fascinated with snakes and lost his life at the age of thirty from the bite of a mamba snake.
She has carried on with a successful, well, done video channel. Too bad it is in Russian, but her charm and vivacity comes through.

You should be able to just click on it to play. There should also be the play icon in the center. I checked and works fine. You might also try clicking on YouTube in the bottom right margin.

My bad! Saw the title and thought this was gonna be tips for living with older women,....
She's done quite a job to raise and house break such a large cat. Some of tried and it didn't work out so well.
I'd love to see the look on any burglar's face when he meets that 'house cat'.
Thanks for posting it, Richard.

The play icon appeared this morning, I dunno what happened last time. That cougar didn't seem very cooperative but it didn't tear her face off either so I guess the bathing was a success haha. "Here, kitty kitty kitty"

Until they aren't.
I had a 21 pound Maine Coon cat for about 14 years. He got along with the family, but he was a bully to all our other cats. Constantly starting fights.

Ive been around many different animals in my life and raised a few but the only one I didnt enjoy was a cougar (4 legged kind) doing figure 8's around my legs. Tame or not it put chills up my spine.
The lady in the video really has the kindness and soothing voice that animals like. Some animals like the smell of perfume too (my opinion) and seem to like women better than men.

More than a year ago our nearly 20 year old cat decided that just about precisely 3:30 AM is to be feeding time each morning. We are not allowed to sleep beyond then. Like clockwork, she sits outside the bedroom door and wails beginning at 3:30 AM until we finally get up and feed her. A great way to start the day. We leave dry food out for our two cats, but she can't chew it anymore. And if we leave wet food out for her right before going to bed, it is always still there at 3:30 AM and she will not touch it. She needs it fresh from the can at 3:30 AM or nothing (sans for wailing).
Our other cat (~5 years old, and weighing in at 19 lbs.) can barely muster an audible mew, but the old female can really let it rip good and loud. The one that can't mew likes to be outside at night, and it cleverly knocks on our living room picture window whenever it wants to come in. As soon as a light goes on at 3:30 AM it starts to knock.

That libertarian philosophy can really be a cross to bear.lsayre wrote: ↑Fri. Human interaction with animals is deeply instinctive. We even start children off with toy stuffed animals.

If you could stand to do it, ignore the 330AM cat call and dont feed it til 7AM for a few days or a week. It may get over doing that. I dont like cats enough to put up with a 330 wake up call so my hat is off to you!
