8 steps to obtain his treat. Pretty clever bird.

Remarkable. What is even more remarkable is the obtuseness of humans, primarily in academia, in preserving ignorance.

Being a sheep farmer, I had hundreds of sheep and only lost one to a predator...a CROW!
I just had a set of lambs born on pasture and a crow flew out of the sky and pecked at its umbilical cord. Kind of a sad loss, but I did not have a dog at the time. Another time I had an eagle swoop down and try and grab a lamb, but the dog was there and the eagle "did not land".

Yeah that's neat and all, and I'm not attempting to disqualify the intelligence... BUT, the narrator did say that the bird was previously trained with each one of those tasks individually. I do admit, had I not been previously trained, I woulda struggled to figure it out too
We have a Green Winged McCaw who has been conditioned to say "hello" when the phone rings, tell the Great Dane to "shut up" when he barks. She'll say "is at good?" when handed a treat. She'll laugh with you, mimicks a group of people talking when we have company. She'll spread her wings if you hold your arms out, the list goes on..
