Heres the MSDS sheet for anthracite, for what its worth. In people it says it can cause nausea, etc., but Im sure eating any rock would that. Duh!

My Shepard pup ate a bunch of coal. You could see pieces in her poop for days afterwards. :) Nothing more.

On the SDS it rates only a '1' for health. If it was a serious toxin it would have been a '4'.
