We have been working with Thor and it's going very well. We are able to walk him at the "heel" position with the leash staying loose. He is really a joy to work with although he does have his moments...................mostly with Mrs. Beetle. He is becoming a very well trained and respected member of our family. If only this had worked on the kids. I plan on off leash training and recall very soon. His distractions are becoming minimal and he tends to focus more on us.

Sounds outstanding SB My 5 mo. old yellow lab/ weimerauner is an idiot--loveable but an idiot LOL She will come if she's in the mood & at dinner time--no leash training, I'm afraid she'd hang herself. She does love chasing the horses & the horses go with it till they decide to chase her--she is quick except for an occasional tumble over them big feet. Horses always give her a chance to get back up & then it's off to the races again. I'm beginning to think we are looking for different outcomes with our training regiments Did I mention that I no longer have any place to sit in the living room??

I have the same problem ... only with felines.
Can't even get any clean clothes either ...
There I go trying to hijack a dog thread again!
