Anyone been there? I'd like to take my invention to the National Hardware Show. I registered to go. Never been on a plane before. Would have to get motel. I'd need to set up a display. Any advice? Any idea of costs?

I drove part of an exhibit out to the International Builders’ Show in Vegas several years ago. Also delivered shows to McCormick Place in Chicago as well as Navy Pier. All the shows I ever delivered were set up by Freeman Decorating Company. All union labor. Big bucks to get a booth and pay to have them set it up.
I am guessing the National Hardware Show is run about the same way. Great exposure but I hope you have a lot of faith in your product because I believe the cost to have even a minimal size booth will not be cheap.

Thanks gaw, your reply is kind of what I was looking for. Now to dig deeper......gaw wrote:I drove part of an exhibit out to the International Builders’ Show in Vegas several years ago. Space is fairly cheap...
You must pay for power and internet...
You can rent everything from the show company...
Or make your own...
Lights can be on a pole...
must be UL approved...
The Union guys will bring your stuff in...
Just build a pallet box...
They will bring it in on a jack or forklift...
You can setup your own booth if it is your stuff...
Just remember to "Tip" the foreman...
For expedited delivery...
If it is a sufficient "tip" you will be remembered...
And 'taken care of' for the pack out...
Which is usually controlled chaos...
Been a few years but did many a show in Boston...
