Wall St shrugged off today's attempts by the Fed to stabilize the credit markets. The DOW is now down 35% from its high. Even so, valuations are still 1-2% above their mean. Hold your fire.

Predictions are pretty much all over the place. These swings tend to overshoot and so my sense of it now is that if we don't contain the virus we might have another 20% to go. When I find my mojo I'll probably go back in with dollar cost averaging.

bought 50 more shares of AT&T@ 27 something.got in last year at 30,then went to 38. don't need the money now so i'm hoping for nice comeback in a few years.

Not a monetary genius but I'm lookin towards a quick recovery after this corona crises levels out. Just an old farmers thoughts & I'm surely not as brilliant as some of those Wa-Po writers!! .>)

FF, motive/ incentive... consider also that portfolio managers, and politicians have them too.

Fiscal stimulus (we were running a $ trillion deficit) and historically low interest rates had been goosing what was already a pretty healthy economy. And despite a 35% decline, the S&P is still 4% above its mean.

Banks invest in stocks. Every US bank is a Federal Reserve bank.

🤣 I age everday and frankly I don't worry about the debt for myself, more for my sons, as they are carrying the water pails now.😉
