Are you going to set it up as an S or C corp or as an LLC or something else?
I know you can have a generic name on the LLC, but you do have to give a general description of the type of business on the form selected from a list of categories. Your name would show up on the form as the owner / officer unless you name your wife as a principal. Then you could go through the process of being a woman owned business enterprise and that will give you an advantage on some municipal or government projects.
