Green paint! That is a brilliant idea. No mowing, no weed and feed. A real money saver.

AT 1:39 min into vid OP..shows the tank with all the seed, fertilizer combo to be sprayed.

I assume CH sprayed the mixture then watered frequently over the area.

I don't seed such a large area as my water comes from a well & I don't want to be applying water that much.

I use a mixture of perennial tall fescue grass and bluegrass and annual fescue seed mix. And fertilize with high phosphorus containing fertilizer.

Before applying the seed, I de-thatch and then aerate the ground well.

Apply seed with drop-spreader or hand-held battery operated spreader.

Usually only 400 sq ft at a time. Watering 10 min / 3x day for 1st week...then 10 min/2x day 2-5th week .. then 1x day after that for 10 min.

I should add a step...to run over the spreaded seed with a drum compactor...but I don't have one.

I triple seed...

On level soil, works good. On slopes, due to high angles, mowing does take its toll on a few small areas.

The secret is watering ... many folks cannot water much and are left to only smaller areas at best.

CH has no such limit...looking good...what are the green fees gonna be ?
