After this last wind storm I’m having issues. Turn the microwave on and the lights dim and microwave loses power, it’s on a separate circuit. Lines come through pine tree limbs. Would a broken neutral be a possibility. Microwave is not the only issue. Thanks guys.

Check the voltage at your panel and check the connections to the breakers.
I had a electrician install 200 amp service in 2019 and his helper forgot the paste on the #4 aluminum cable going to the subpanel in the addition. it damaged the end of the wire and the circuit breaker. Had to fix it myself, called the electrician to fix it but he said a week. Made him come back and check the panel, gave him a piece of my mind. We could have had a fire. microwave was flaking out and the lights were flickering that's why i thought of it

Try running an extension cord from the microwave to another outlet on a different circuit. Would wonder the effect.

No circuit breaker popping off ... no GFI circuit issue ... with "other" non-described issues.

Possible microwave is 4-F ? Have another microwave to test same line with ? Or a 1000-1500w hair dryer, etc ?

Thanks guys, checked all connections all tight, checked voltage same each side. I did the ext. cord same effect. Talked to a electrician friend felt it was a loose neutral outside (meter socket or else where) called power co. The recording 😀 said it would be fixed by 12:30 we shall see. Let yin’s know.

Same thing happened to us two years ago in our guest cottage. Ended up being a loose neutral in the meter box.

Wife said we should leave the leg lamp up year round. I think she may have had a stroke. Maybe just a broken neutral 🤣
